Dispersing wealth and creating a framework that combats poverty are not the same thing. I have no problem with anyone amassing a fortune.
However, society can and should tweak things based on the results of the current system.
Tax havens in the Dakotas, carried interest, profits held overseas in favor of borrowing money rather that repatriating it...
When the distortions become too large it leads to disaster.
The gap is about to grow exponentially as labor becomes increasingly obsolete thanks to automation, globalization and population.
