A little more on the subject...
Yesterday I watched a movie called Room 237. It is described as "An exploration of various interpretations of Stanley Kubrick's horror film, The Shining (1980)."

I was really looking forward to seeing this film because I thought it would teach me something new about one of my favourite horror films.
Instead though, it is 90 minutes of conspiracy theory nonsense. The narrator of this "documentary" starts with a description of the "extreme terror" he had sitting down to watch the movie, and then takes every strange idea he had and finds reasons for them to be there. He even goes out of his way to use continuity errors in the movie to further his crazy ideas. Instead of being critical of obvious continuity errors, he uses them to further his ideas.
It does have some cool ideas such as the "Impossible Room" (Manager's office has windows where none should be, etc) and they are fun to talk about, but thats about it.
