Fedora is the beta for Red Hat. Fedora is not a LTS for 3 or 4 years. For a stable desktop for business use you don't want Fedora IMHO or Mint for that matter. That said, I have never run Fedora as a production desktop but I do have an older Mint install on an extra computer that I have used occasionally. I prefer Unbuntu for a more "eye candy" desktop.
I hate using Winbloz but for some software (and Netflix <sigh>) you have to. I can do so many tricks with LINUX that I can't duplicate in Win, but LINUX is for the 3l33t, but then Android is a LINUX Kernel ...

I using mint for bussiness and it work quite fine.Zero complaints.It even allows you to customize iso.Tho when it comes to picking your linux distribution,it's all depend how it suit your taste.For example,i cant imagine using anything else beside cent os on servers,while i cant running imagine anything else beside mint on desktop.
