It's also naive and extremely arrogant to think we are so much more intelligent than ancient man. The engineers of the time were just as creative and capable as today's enterprising dot.com developers, the only difference being they lacked the available technology. I would say about 99% of the historians believe all ancient structures were built by man without any help from ET.
Not believing in UFOs does not equate to believing we are alone in the universe. Only, an acceptance of the great physical barriers of contact with another advanced race due to the sheer distance between habitable planets.
