Heard today that CBS, NBC, and ABC have given 17 times more news coverage to Christie and this local story then they did to Obama and the IRS targeting his political opponents.

It is kind of a double standard at play here.

When Nixon targeted his opponents using the IRS, the press was all over it.

I personally am sick and tired of all these politicians. They are all a bunch of crooks.

But the media is getting worse and worse each year.

Their JOB is to question the govt.

But they only seem interested in making one political party out to be "bad" and sucking up to the other one. (unless it's Fox News and then it's the reverse of the parties)

The IRS targets political opponents. Lies are told until the truth finally comes out.
No big deal to the media.

The Benghazi fiasco. Obama HIMSELF went on television (including on the Letterman show) and lied his ass off about it.
No big deal to the media.

The NSA spying...they stood in front of Congress and committed perjury and claimed that no Americans were being spied on.
No big deal.

But a Governor is involved in a political retribution scandal?
Hold the motherfucking presses!!!!
This is BIG news, and must be covered and analyzed over and over.

Nevermind that Pres. Obama claims Chicago (of all places...the most historically politically corrupt city in America) as his home base.

The media doesn't care about anything BUT Chris Christie and a traffic jam.

Pathetic.

Meanwhile the Fed keeps printing money so our dollar becomes more and more worthless (and then people yell about raising the minimum wage), the war continues in Syria, all hell is breaking loose in Iraq, North Korea continues to work toward a nuclear weapon...
but NOTHING is as important as a Governor VS a Mayor local feud.

It's like "AnchorMan 2" coming to life.

EDIT: And oh yeah...just got a letter from Blue Cross Blue Shield: My premium is now $875 a fucking month for my family of 3
Thanks "Affordable" Health Care Act!
