That's wrong, if you have ever had chicken pox then you carry the virus for shingles. It's just dormant and can be triggered if your immune system is weak for some reason. My mother just went through breast cancer and she ended up with shingles due to her immune system being vulnerable.

Pretty much if you have ever had chicken pox you are at risk of getting shingles for the rest of your life.
