Juicy's right. Shingles is the chicken pox virus that stays dormant your system. If you've never been exposed to chicken pox, you can't get Shingles. You also can't 'catch' Shingles. It just happens, usually if your immune system is down (which is why older folks get it more frequently).
And it's a bitch. My mom had it when she was going through chemo. Not fun.
