I just don't see the value in squeezing everything you can out of something right now without having any thought for the future. The industry has to know that it's not creating and promoting artists who are going to stand the test of time.
Could just be me, but I see more value in solid, long term projects than I do in hollow crap and quick gains.
And honestly, I love music. True music. Not songs written by 7 people who don't play instruments and know jack shit about what they're trying to write. True music is true art. I see no real true art coming from the industry. It sucks.

I'm saying there are many current artists cranking out killer shit and they are on major labels. I've started many music threads here about several, most all of them get passed on by so I won't waste my time posting links to them. Obviously, people don't want that, they just want to believe that current music = dreck.
