Ar 15 vs Ak47. The the Seals were hitting their targets and the Ak47s were missing much of the time just like in real life. However the Seals looked like they were getting hit with 38 special rounds.

The casting was horrible. They even let one guy pay money to have a speaking role. The Seals were portrayed as frat boys which was also rediculous. None of those guys on that cast could have handled even the first test for special forces that the Navy gives to weed out 95% of the guys who have pipe dreams of becoming a Seal.

Gotta love the propaganda regarding justification for war crimes. They decided not to murder those kids but the kids ended up telling the Taliban who then killed all the Seals. So now the average dumb american viewer will now accept war crimes committed by our troops.

The movie grossly inflated the numbers of Taliban to make the Seals look more heroic. There were not nearly as many in the real life fight. Those seals had a fair fight and got their asses handed to them. All their advanced equipment and training did jack shit in the real world up against men who were not raised eating fruit loops and were happy to give their lives to their cause.

Also the propaganda for justification for more military spending was blatantly obvious. How many times did they work into the script that they were short on Blackhawk helicopters. I must have heard them bring that one up like 3 or 4 times.

I thought the make up was very good. The wounds from tumbling down the mountain looked real. Also the battle scenes were pretty good and showed in how the Seals will do anything to save their fellow soldiers.
expected it to be a propaganda piece.
There are 2 types of war movies: First is for the arms industry and propaganda to the people, second is criticism on wars. I prefer the 2nd one for a 'real' movie, the first one you have to filter out the propaganda and view it as entertainment.
