There is no such thing.
They all have their pluses and minuses.
Some work good for a while then cascade down.
Some little ones work better than the big players.
Its all relative to your traffic. If you figure out the precise demographics of your traffic and match it to the corresponding sponsor and the sponsor is honest, you'll make a load of money.
Tweaking is art form. I don't think anyone has it down to an exact science even when they say they do, because we operate in a fluid industry.
