Thanks for the advice ErectMedia. I'm honestly not sure if the buyer came from Sedo's distribution network or GD's network

The first message (above) I received was on Dec 25.

I received this 2nd message on Dec 26

Dec/26/13payment received
Payment has arrived in Sedo's escrow account.

We kindly ask that you do not start the transfer process until we contact you with instructions to do so.
Please note that Sedo does not operate on weekends and national holidays, and that your Transfer Specialist will contact you on the next business day with instructions on preparing the domain name for transfer to the buyer.

The part that worries me is this part in Sedo's site:

Current Status:
Domain sold. Transfer in progress.

Latest Update:
payment received
Sale Price:
999 USD
Sedo's Commission:
200 USD
Net amount to be credited:
(more details)
799 USD

The "Transfer in progress" part is the worrying part. For anyone who has sold on Sedo, is it normal for that status to appear if you (the buyer) is the one who has to manually transfer the domain? Essentially is that a default status message that is displayed when the Escrow payment has been paid to Sedo's account?
