Anybody who has had an e-gold account for any length of time would probably be very wary about doing this. There used to be several market makers who would transfer paypal funds to e-gold. Problem was a lot of scammers were taking advantage of the fact that paypal is chargebackable and e-gold isn't. So you can use a fake credit card to fund a paypal account and the get your money via e-gold and disappear into the sunset. Meanwhile paypal.com shuts down the poor saps account that got stung.
