It was for Federal charges of obscenity. Had nothing to do with violence, had everything to do with tossing out the First Amendment.
Not to mention violating his Fifth Amendment rights - concerning double jeopardy. When State juries (as in more than one) failed to convict him, the Feds stepped in and did their dirty work.
Do I enjoy Max Hardcore content? No, it's not to my taste. I also don't enjoy Gay content. But just because something isn't to my taste doesn't mean it should be banned.
As a (very small) Adult Content producer, I will always support my fellow producers against US-based censorship, intimidation and prosecution.
My idea of Freedom is whatever consenting adults want to do should be none of the government's concern.
Something I think people would understand on an Adult Webmaster Forum.
