The thing about free speech is that some think it means only letting socially accepted views be heard.

everyone gets to say what they want. I totally disagree with that dude's point of view, but he has a right to express it.
Now if he said "we must kill faggots because they're evil" that's a different matter because it's asking for action. Sure it's a grey area but if you think life is white and black you're a naive fool, which explains why you think freedom of expression is a simple matter.

Sure it's difficult having to hear people who have opinions that you find distasteful and think they're wrong, but that's why YOU have a right to express your disagreement with them.
