I hear you.. perhaps not the easiest task to go multidevice and all the way custom since the backend goes way back - on the other hand, who else should be the one to move first in the direction the consumers move than those, that hat have built a rock solid brand and also have the biggest amount of content / studios on board.
And talking about the management heaviness - yes I remember changing my postal address was exactly this complicated.

I changed my mailing address and bank info 2 weeks ago. Scanning and emailing the form took me about 3 minutes.
If that means my account is safe from being hacked or stolen: I really don't mind doing it that way versus the 1 minute it will take me with a NATS backend.
