I was watching Goodfellas the other day with my girlfriend. Joe Pesci's character exclaims to Henry; "can you believe it? A Jew broad predjudiced against Italians!". I looked at my gf (not Caucasian) and asked "did you notice something unusual in what was said?". She said yes and said exactly what I was thinking "when was the last time you heard the word 'prejudiced' used?"
There was a time when people discerned between prejudice, bigotry and racism. Now, racism basically means "you said something I don't want to hea, so I'm going to shut you upr", rather than its original meaning which was essentially the belief that a human is less intelligent or less coordinated and so on, strictly because of that individuals race.
People today have zero clue as to the meaning of racism and it's never defined from the outset of any discussion of the issue.
