you view that scenario as a problem, to others it sounds like a golden opportunity for those who choose to get training to become installers, programmers, salesmen, repairmen, etc of these machines...

Which one do you want to be when these machines roll out? one that bitches: "these machines took my job!" or the one that chose to get training in repairing/programming/etc those machines?
