When I was in Africa recently, a Swahili speaker told me a story about a "Mzungu" (white) and apologized for the quote. I was like, who cares? It isn't really derogatory, and you do stick out. But I'll tell you they have no worries about being called black - they get more pissed off if you miss their tribe. My experience, people have an endless capacity to split themselves up and always seem to be the better one.

Point is that those caribean blacks think that they are not of the same race as african blacks, thats why they do not like it. Not because black is bad. So your statement about only America still stands.
