Next time try Apple's online support. It's faster and you can do it from home. And very often the problem with short battery life on iPhones isn't the batteries themselves, it's an app. My GF's iPhone was dying after a few hours only of use so with help from Apple by phone I did a factory reset, updated the i/os, then restored only the apps she wants and not all of the other apps she never used anymore and voila - problem solved.

If you're sure its not your apps, turn off Bluetooth and wifi when you don't need it. Wifi is always scanning for and attempting to connect to other wifi hotspots, and chances are you have a few apps running that you said can use your current location, meaning your iPhone is always broadcasting stuff out. Turning Wifi off when you don't need it can extend your battery life.
