Pinkworld rocks. It's not just direct conversions, but there's other advantages if one looks at the big picture. The fact that it is text based makes it even better. Plus, the owner is a great guy to do business --and has been for years now.
The reality is though, TGPs can be very effective, even in today's market. The key is in identifying and targeting the demographic on the TGP to which you are submitting. Some content simply will not work on one TGP while it will work on another.
