i know they all come with a bit of high action, which is fine for me at the moment. but some say that's to make sure no buzzy frets, although gibson states it's for better tone.

bottom line: i have no idea! . i've had only 1 epiphone not need set-up and no fenders i've had *needed* it. although i'm going to take the strat in for a super set-up. the epi casino needs a fret dressing too.
