this is what i do as well, also, if someone is coming in, i'll skank out using their open door, without having to touch anything. if it's a bit off, i can use the edge of my shoe to catch the door.
what i haven't figured out how to handle is the public bathroom key on a stick. eesh, that thing has to be disgusting. argh.
