FACT: Your fact that vaping will not get you stoned is false.
Since the cannabis experience varies from person to person, I'm not going to argue with you.
In the spirit of what the OP wrote, vaping can help people such as myself whose respiratory system is compromised by smoking too much cannabis, since it is one of several ways to obtain the physiological and mental effects of cannabis without endangering your lungs.
GFY...Good For You! If vaping can help people reduce the harmful impacts of smoking tobacco, I say great!
One other related note is that vaping cannabis can be a good way to stop drinking alcohol.
I quit consuming cannabis around the time I entered the adult biz, about 14 years ago, and stopped for nearly a decade (except for the very rare toke here or there off of someone else's offered joint). However in it's place I started drinking much heavier than I had in the past.
For the better part of a decade I consumed on average a fifth of Bacardi rum a day, slow drinking rum and diet coke while editing all night (the rum gives you a buzz, and the caffeine in the Diet Coke makes you wide awake). Anyway, when I was arrested for my first (and only) DUI about 3-1/2 years ago, I decided to cut back.
A friend of mine told me that using cannabis helped him quit drinking, and so since I always preferred cannabis to drinking anyway, I decided to give it a try, and presto change-o, I quit drinking cold turkey and started vaping, and I haven't had an alcoholic drink in over 3 years now (I also lost over 80 pounds).
Results will differ, but I am happier, healthier and more productive, and that is good enough for me.
Whatever gets you through the night...
