Ill give another example. 2 generations ago dutch people hated germans because they invaded the netherlands and did all kinds of atrocities, including one of the most horrible ones: concentration camps. The people of 2 generations ago (my grandpas and grandmas) experienced this first hand, so it's logical they still carried a grudge towards the germans. Do i hate germans and act like a victim? Nope, germans are very nice people, i like the country, they are human like me, they only speak another language. Blaming them still for what bad apples did 2 generations ago? I have never even thought about that for 1 second.
