Ok, I admit it I was trolling (kind of).
Anyway, we really do have a huge feral cat problem here. There are about 15 feral cats all unneautered that have litters of babies twice a year. Each litter has 3 or 4 more baby cats.
At this rate I will have 40 cats within a couple of years.
I have a 3 year old girl and a new baby due in March. The reason for the cat prevention is in their interests. You know the feces can cause blindness right?
The cats use my garden as a cat litter, burying the shit under her swing and climbing frame.
Yes, I used to throw rocks (actually small stones) at them. The idea isn't to hit them it's to scare them away. Same with throwing water at them.
I have tried cat proofing. I put chicken wire in every possible space but they still get in, the old guy next door actually adds to the problem by feeding them.
There is a feral rescue place and I know the lady that runs it, this lady actually took away the babies, I think you guys jumped to conclusions on that one. The babies were re-homed and they were supposed to be coming to catch the male adult cats so they can be neautered. Unfortunately they haven't yet. I think by next year there will be more baby kittens shitting in my yard.
I was looking at those animal traps but I saw how wild the kittens are. I can't imagine trying to deal with a wild feral cat.
Anyway, I don't hurt animals (not intentionally anyway). All I do is scare the fuckers. If you had a problem lke mine you would proberbly do the same.
