Was Zimmy sacred for his life? You betcha. Zimmy is fucking scared of his own fucking shawdow. That's why he carries a firearm. You either handle things or you get handled; Zimmy got started a confrontation and got handled. Zimmerman started everything. E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.
The only eyewitness to what happened that night is Zimmerman. He's had more contact with police in the past four months than I have in forty-five years. Are you honestly going to believe a thing he ever said?
