I didn't say get rid of the police. I said they do not stop crimes from happening.
If you think a cop will stop you from having your home invaded, your being mugged, your neighborhood liquor store or bank from being robbed, your g/f from being raped, you are going to be in for a surprise.
Yes, police get criminals off the streets and we need them for that. But prevent crime? Doesn't work that way.
