Rented a tux, had fresh bleached hair (rocked that look all through the late 90s), and had just bought a new Jeep Wrangler that day. Didn't have a date but we were a group of mixed guys and girls. Showed up with the Jeep, the girls all refused to ride in it because it would mess up their hair, so they got a ride with one of their mothers and the guys rode with me. Ditched prom early to get drunk at this "safe grad" thing the parents put on for kids to get shitfaced in a parking lot, had my first and worst hangover of my life.
