1. I was apologizing (sort of) to the dipwad that chose to try to educate me on how a forum works.
2. It would seem to me that if you wanted to you could do your project for a lot less than $400. Might have to skip the adword campaign up front, or find a deal where you can get $100 or so in free adwords, but the rest of it is doable for pretty much the cost of the domain and some hosting. You would have to do the grunt work yourself but it is doable.
Just imho, of course.
