Call it what you will. From a personal standpoint for the first time in over 10 years I'm making financial maneuvers myself which will not only decrease my tax bill but will also decrease my health insurance bill. One might consider that a good thing. But before I was comfortable with the status quo. Now it is a must or it will break me financially. I've even gone as far as to move my live in girlfriend out of my house.... And yes there is a reason for this obamacare related.. You can be rest assured I will not be getting married anytime soon, if ever because quite frankly it's now cheaper to not keep her unless she's unemployed... and my once healthy tax paying self-employed income will soon become a paycheck of the bare essentials.
He did in fact dubunk it. Right here:

He later reveals that his old plan cost him about $170, and the one his ?insurance guy? offered would cost him $1500 a month, with a $13,500 deductible. However, the most expensive Obamacare plan offered to individuals over 50 on the exchange for South Carolina is $796.87 a month, for the most expensive Gold plan, and Bronze plans in the state start at $255.35 a month.

The man said on national TV that his new insurance plan will cost him $1500 a month. But that's twice that the most expensive plan in his state costs - which is physically impossible.

This course, this is before any help kicks in from Obamacare. Depending on how much money he makes, his healthcare plan could cost less than what he is currently paying.

At the very same time, if he doesn't like his healthcare, under Obamacare he'll be able to change healthcare plans with is pre-exisiting condition.

This news article (video really) was completely misleading by telling us that his healthcare will cost twice as much as the most expensive plan he can get. And this typical of what the Republicans are doing - trash talking Obamacare so it looks bad. It's just like the cancelations they are talking - Policies change. Some get canceled. The vast majority of us who have employer paid medical benefits have open enrollment every year, and this is the same thing.
