Well, we push much more than 300-600 a day, that amount is just through our merchant account (via Netbilling). We've tried pushing more through Netbilling but end up with a lot more declines than we do with pushing about 60% of our traffic through Epoch, 20% through Verotel and 20% through Netbilling.
We just recently removed Zombaio from processing any new sales (except for 2nd step in the cascade) because they're getting worse and worse at getting us our money and they've been doing some shady shit with the payout dates to "solve" that problem. It really sucks though because we were able to process more sales through them than we do through Verotel but it is what it is I guess.
As far as our servers go, we're currently undergoing a shit load of major overhauling and reconfiguring our entire network so some things are a bit slower than they should be right now.
As for the rest, I'm not really sure what we could improve/change... I'm just a server admin and coder/developer heh, and I'd venture to say we have a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the billing side of things.
