This issue is getting seriously and wrongly sidetracked.
It is not about the salaries of the chief executives of Charities, it is about the loss, wastage and pilfering of aid that goes on locally.
Adendreams was right to raise awareness with the original topic, but wrong to act like a spoiled kid when people like vdbucks and DWB explained the reality of what will happen to most aid given.
It was also wrong to make this second thread although at least anybody who was unsure whether Adendreams truly cared about the issue more than the soapbox, at least got their answer.
Whilst I don't agree with the view that people shouldn't donate because undeserving people will profit from it, taking a stand in such a way is actually a good step in the long term battle against this corruption.
However, that is a battle for another day and as MarcWomack already said, for the sake of the people that really do need help NOW, people should be encouraged to give in the hope that whatever does make it through can make a difference.
