Hmm.

Donny... could it be YOU are jinxing them? Yes, I think YOU are jinxing them big time. Stop it. Now.

Seriously, my mood is never affected by things I can't control, like 'the weather', or if my team loses. Especially on a day like you're describing, a day out with your son, to a football game with thousands of people and hotdogs and cheerleaders, too much soda for sonny boy and maybe a beer or two for dad. And you're saying that it's niners losing that dictates whether it's a bad day or not??? Come on.

Sounds like an incredibly awesome day to me. Yes, would have been that much better with a win but still awesome in so many other ways, no?

I said "Not the Best Day" on purpose. It was a great day. Said so on Facebook. It just wasn't the BEST day because my Niners didn't win. I've been to many, many games. But I've taken my son to just 3. I wanted him to experience a win and was more disappointed that wasn't the case than anything. We'll likely not be back this year, which means he will never have the personal experience of a Niner victory at the Stick. Since, for me, Candlestick park will always be associated with the best Niner games of all times, I'm disappointed my son didn't get to see one there in person. I really wanted that, badly.
