If you are going to buy a used car or motorcycle from a third party, use a certified check or do the transaction at the bank. Going antique shopping or buying stuff for your business - use your debit card or credit card. Loose your credit card or debit card you get a new one. So since YOU don't think that it's a good idea for someone to carry "too much cash",
(whatever that arbitrary number is that you have decided that everyone else should follow), then it's ok for the police to confiscate and keep the cash, without even bringing a charge against you?
