I think this is a huge part of the problem. That's like having auto insurance that will gladly come out if you lock yourself out of your car, but if you have a collision you are on your own.
Someone else in another thread said one of the rules of the bill requires "fifty year old women to be covered in the event of a pregnancy". I am stunned that anyone would believe that is a bad thing; My wife is 49, we fuck a few times a week; I wish she would get pregnant. My wife not being covered in the event she gets pregnant is utterly stupid. I also wonder what other items this "rule" includes, as in "women problems". I'm discovering that a lot of women get a hysterectomy, and I am wondering if that is covered under this "rule".
Not covering for Cancer, the leading cause of death, is suicide plain and simple.
Hospitalization is another thing. You can drop at any time and be rushed to the hospital and the bill will put you in debt leading into bankruptcy.
Sorry, I don't give a crap what the President said. Some of these plans aren't really plans at all.
