Nice work Mike, good to see an actual artist who uses 3d tools also. I've been working on an adult graphic novel (just setup time for now) -- but I'll agree that it takes a long time, and most people probably don't know that. Also, the best stuff is usually not that cookie cutter Poser shit that's seen everywhere. I use Softimage and Modo.
When it comes that clip posted above, that look good and all -- but I don't see the point of doing something in animation that can be shot in real life -- cartoony look notwithstanding. My project is sci-fi and involves things that could never be done physically in camera.
