Seriously. We take our kids to the doctor's office when they catch funk at school and the first thing she does is throw some sort of liquid amoxycillin or some shit like that. She chalks it up for kids just being kids and not washing their hands, recess playground, etc. As well as that may be all fine and dandy, the fact of the matter is it has made me stop bringing them to the doctor's office altogether.
When one of our children gets sick, we take them to the hospital ER. It may take a bit longer but they run the whole 9 on them. Chest xrays, throat swabs, etc. They usually end up giving us a short term script for whatever their outcome is but it's at that point whether or not we gauge if we should take them to their general practitioner, specialist, etc. or not.
