They are not facing the problem of population expansion. They are facing population contraction which brings its own set of problems. The Japanese race and culture is on its way to extinction. Same goes for most European and other western countries. The large waves of muslim immigration into Europe are a direct result of Europeans failing to have enough babies to carry on their populations.
