You are right about the math DM.. the fine or a big monthly$$$ commitment for something they don't think they'll need.

i also hope the gov didn't under-estimate the # of pre-existers that are going to flood the sytem and doctor's offices in 2014. i've been denied insurance for 30 years being self-employed with a pre-existing, i am going to take full fucking advantage of this access and get a lot of care that been neglected over decades. that is not going to be cheap for my insurance provider.
