This isn't true at all.
Sometimes even the best anti-virus fail.
The company I referenced is a multi million dollar company with hundreds of employees. They had upto date anti virus on every machine yet still got infected by Crypto Locker.
How it happened, I don't know but when you have hundreds of computers open to the internet you leave yourself vulnerable.
Acting cocky is easy until it happens to you. Besides, you don't have a hundred employees to keep tabs on.
