I remember a few years back there was an actor (I can't remember who it is right now) who was accused by a woman of sexual assault in a nightclub. She claimed she was at the club and went to the bathroom and in the hall near the bathroom she ran into the actor. They talked and he asked her to come into the men's room and screw and when she wouldn't do it he tried to force himself on her.
The case made its way to a preliminary hearing and it turns out that there was a security camera video that shows when the women went to the bathroom and that nobody even talked to her. She had seen the actor in the VIP area, went home that night and hatched a plan and then the next day she went to the police. All with the intent to file a civil suit and get some cash.
The poor actor did nothing but go out with some friends and have a few drinks. If it hadn't been for that tape showing he never even came into contact with her the poor bastard would have ended up in court all because this bitch wanted some cash.
I wonder how often stuff like that happens.
