I think the best/most convincing first step is CG skins over real talent... Turning uglies in to hotties. It would be the modern day equivelant to phone sex lines... Always the fear the girl is a fat slob in reality but you throw the worry out the window for the fantasy.
Being in Japan, this is already huge business whether it's anime, manga, games. It's all about a generation growing up with something familiar and when the demand is there, the costs are covered.
If ultimately what we are creating is a fantasy, then CG allows for so many more possibilities versus what we can physically shoot in the real world.
CG will be huge business in the near future. Real girls will be a novelty.
