I was just having a major rant the other day with someone about those souvenir shot glasses that are sold at every tourist gift-shop in every city on the planet. They all have a tiny sticker on them that says "FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY" and then goes on to say something about high levels of toxic chemicals. Everyone thinks I'm nuts when I'm at friends houses and I refuse to touch alcohol poured out of them.

The other thing is this... If I had a souvenirs from everywhere I've been, I'd be featured on the next episode of Hoarders. The only souvenirs I bring back with me now are photos and videos. You know, the ones that don't take up any space... won't ever look tacky sitting in my kitchen, and won't kill me.
