Those are the kind of young men who are going to be victimized by older veteran jailbirds, gangsters and lifers. The whole prison for profit system is a pretty fucked up concept as there is an incentive for police and the justice system to put people away in prison for bullshit things like drug possession.

I used to be all for the death penalty. Kill someone, and society will kill you back. Simple.
But that's not really a punishment, is it? No pain, no suffering, just done. We'll even feed you the meal of your choice on your final day, like a little party.
Fuck that. Dark cell, bread and water for the next forty years. No cable television. No tennis. No sunlight. No reading material, no visitors, no conversation, no nothing.
I am not saying everyone in prison should be treated this way. But if you are in for rape or murder, you deserve nothing more than a dark cell for the rest of your life.
