Kenyans with jobs make 5 dollars a day. Those things in that mall would be like someone dropping 50,000 cash in front of you. How many people would take it? In DC, 20% of people stole bottles of TEA which they easily could have afforded. If it was 50,000 you bet a large number of them would take it. If it was 1 trillion then they set up a whole government to steal it.
Also 3 soldiers died saving people. Personally, if my family was hungry and I had to take something off a rich person to feed them, I would.
