17 years is a good life for a dog and sounds like ya sent her out with class
I've had a couple pass and even though you'd like to able to say it's just a dog to make shit easier on ya tough to do that when ya spend so much time with them they become family. Haven't had any animals in a few years due to traveling too much, schedule kinda calmed down now so been debating adding a new partner in crime maybe next year.
