I don't believe it that guys have a thing for short females. If a female is a 9 but short vs another female who is a 9 but tall the taller female would still "win", right? The taller female would win out consider all other things were identical.

The only time I've ever seen two women like that was twins. But even then their personalities were distinctly different, and their height was similar.
I've never seen two random women who were identical in looks, brains and personality together in the same room.
Never.
But if it were to happen, being a guy it wouldn't rely on their height, it would probably rely on which of them was more attracted to me. Because if they're both 9's most guys would be happy with either one.
Now, if you take your question with it's rather incredible variables a step further and say "What if they both come up to you and say choose one of us" (which of course always happens in real life), I'm sure there are guys who prefer taller girls, as are there guys who have a thing for shorter girls.
