If you want a real SE Asian holiday that isn't full of over developed, scamming crap holes, hit Laos or Burma. Thailand is cool if you want to screw whores or hit more remote areas / islands, but Laos and Burma are where you want to be right now. See them before they get ruined too.

Yes, i heard Pai is the 'Hippie Village' that must be nice and i am in the good season for that. Looking into Burma and Laos. But there must be good internet, i am working/ scripting and not having a holiday for 4 months
I didn't like Krabi much when i was there some years ago.
And yes, i will hit Pattaya first after Bangkok. For meeting people offcourse, noting else!
