I'm using youtube to pull in traffic as one of the methods and have been doing some tests for the last few days. I signed up the pay per lead and I want to know what is the difference between pay per lead and pay per signup?

So far my earnings have been $0 from around 50 unique visitors. I have youtube traffic visit my landing page, and my landing page have a clickable link to the actual cam site.

My question is, as long as a visitor clicks on the cam link and goes to the website, does that count as PPL? Or do they need to sign up an account first? Would that be considered pay per signup? I heard pay per signup requires a purchase.
