There are different trademarks:

1. Name (wordmark)
2. Product
3. In certain countries you can even tradmark ideas but not in many.

Then there are idfferent versions:
1. National
2. Europeanwide
3. Worldwide

The problem with worldwide is that they have to do it nationaly for every country to be sure. If they don't own a trademark in your country and you country does not agree to some Madrid agreement (it is an international agreement about trademeark) the trademark is not worth shit. Now all depands what ending of ebay you own. It's probably some small extension for some african country but if it is something european or a country that the company has a trademark in you might be in bad luck if their trademark is older than your domain registration.
Not sure what they can do if you sell it but I would say they might be able to argue that you have to cover their costs of getting the domain from the buyer and the buyer might get back to you.

My advice is talk to a lawyer.
